# Copy

- Buttons say what happens: "Create project", "Send invite", "Delete 3 files". Not "OK", "Submit", "Yes".
- Titles are nouns for places ("Billing"), verbs for tasks ("Invite your team").
- Empty states answer: what goes here, why it's empty, and the one action that fills it.
- Errors say what happened and what to do next, in the user's words: "That card was declined. Try another card or contact your bank."
- Confirmations name the object: "Delete “Q3 roadmap”? This can't be undone."
- Use sentence case. No exclamation marks in system messages. Numbers as digits.
- Sample data must be believable and consistent: real-looking names, plausible amounts, dates that line up.
