# Example: account settings

**Job:** a signed-in user updates their profile, password and notifications.

**Plan**
1. Start from the `settings-account` block; it already has profile, security and danger zone sections.
2. Notifications: `notification-preferences` block, or `switch` rows grouped by channel.
3. Saving: one save button per section, enabled only when something changed.
4. Delete account: `hold-to-confirm`, separated at the bottom.

**Checks:** labels on every field, inline validation after blur, Escape cancels edits, the saved result is announced with `role="status"`.
